Miley got her guitar and went on to the three broomsticks. She ordered 5 butterbeers from there. She was in a very happy mood and felt like nothing could ruin that moment for her. She reached for her small beaded bag in her purse but it was missing. Uh-oh. she thought. She had no money on her and no way was she going to wash dishes for 5 flippin' butterbeers. She told the shopkeeper to wait for a couple of minutes and she'll just go back to the castle and look for her bag. She wasn't allowed.
Miley was loosing hope. She saw a rather small stage at a small corner. Her face and her mood brightened. She looked at the shopkeeper and said "I'll work for it. I'll sing on that stage and people might just drop some galleons. And i'll be in total sight. Deal?" the shopkeeper nodded.
Miley got her guitar and a small headset for her microphone. She connected the microphone wires to an amplifier. She gave the mic a little tap and the usual "Mic test 1, 2, 3..." Miley gulped and began singing some songs she wrote on her own. (these are not ACTUALLY mine. they're property of Miley Cyrus.)
Someday you'll gonna realize One day you'll see through my eyes But then i won't even be there I'll be happy somewhere Even if i can't
I know You dont really see my worth You think your the last guy on earth Well i've got news for you I know i'm not that strong But it won't take long Won't take long
Coz someday, someone's gonna love me The way, i want you to need me Someday, someone's gonna take your place One day i'll forget about you You'll see, i won't even miss you Someday, someday
But now I know you can't tell I'm down, and i'm not down anyway But one day these tears They will all run dry I won't have to cry Sweet goodbye
Coz someday, someone's gonna love me The way, i want you to need me Someday, someone's gonna take your place One day i'll forget about you You'll see, i won't even miss you Someday, someday
She waited for people to come and drop some galleons in a small box she set up.

[[Just so you know, her having a headset and a microphone and amplifier would be unlikely in Hogwarts. It would be more likely for her to have an acoustic guitar and just sing, without a microphone or an amplifier, because Hogwarts students and everyone don't use electronics as much.]]
Hermione enjoyed going to the Three Broomsticks each time she visited Hogsmeade with her friends. The small pub had the best butterbeer around. The atmosphere was generally happy, for most Hogwarts students went there. Well, it was understandable, for there were few pubs around, most of which did not allow students inside. Also, Hermione needed the happy feeling that clouded her thoughts when she entered the pub. For her, life was more complicated now than it had been last time she was in the pub, but the warm butterbeer helped calm her a bit.
A short while after she sat down to drink her butterbeer, Hermione grew tired of listening to her thoughts. She had enough to think about, and just sitting there did not distract her enough for her to stop thinking about all that was going on. She wished Harry, Ron, Ginny, or even Luna, had come with her, because then she would have someone to talk to. Instead, she had told them to go on shopping, that she would catch up with them after having a butterbeer or two.
Hermione was so caught up in her thoughts that she did not hear the girl at the other end of the pub begin singing. When the girl's song finally entered her mind, Hermione forced herself to accept the distraction and turn to watch the girl. She was surprised that she had not recognized the voice right away. It was Natalie. Hermione enjoyed spending time with the younger Gryffindor. Until now, she did not realize how busy she had been. She had not spoken with the younger girl in a few days, and now she noticed how much she missed talking with Natalie.
Hermione didn't get to hear Natalie sing often. If they weren't talking, then Hermione was saying a quick hello before rushing off with Ron and Harry to continue their work. She felt bad for not speaking with Natalie in a while, because she knew how much the younger girl looked up to her. When Natalie was finished with her song, Hermione left her butterbeer on the table and walked closer to the small stage that Natalie was on. "Hi Miley," Hermione said happily, calling the younger girl by her nickname. "You were great."

((sorry.))
Miley continued singing. She loved to sing. Music was one of her closest friends since she spent most of her days alone in that stuffy old common room writing songs by herself. I should forget my wallet more often she thought. The shopkeeper seemed to like it too. Heads started turning and Galleons started dropping. She thought she had enough but she didn't care. She kept on singing.
When she finished with her song she took a short break and gave the box to the shopkeeper. The shopkeeper shook his/her (not sure). She still needed more. She asked for a short break and sat a while. She still remembered that feeling. She saw Hermione without the ever famous trio. She said hi to her. She hasn't spoke to Miley for a few days now. Miley idolized Hermione and wanted to be just like her. "Hi Hermione, thanks. Glad you liked it." [/blockquote]

Hermione saw Miley offer the small box of galleons to the pub owner. She mustn't have had enough money to pay for her drinks. Hermione felt a pang of simpathy for the younger student. She should have known to come to Hermione if she needed money badly enough. Hermione certainly was not rich, but she would have been able to pay however much Miley needed for her drinks.
Then again, Hermione had not spoken to Miley in a few days. She did not like not speaking with the younger Gryffindor, but so much had been happening recently. It was difficult for Hermione to find time to spend with others aside from Ron and Harry. But she promised herself that she would attempt to talk with her other friends more. Danger did not seem to be upon them now, and she assumed it would be a little longer before anyone attacked them. She would be able to put off Horcrux research once in a while to spend time with her other friends, especially Miley.
"Did you write that song yourself? That was amazing." Hermione admired Miley's ability to sing and play the guitar. She sometimes wished she could play an instrument. But then she would remember how little time she actually had for hobbies. Learning to play an instrument would take too long, with the amount of time she would be able to devote to learning. Hermione was going to offer to pay whatever Miley needed for her drinks, but Miley seemed so happy singing for her money, and Hermione didn't want to take away that happiness. If Miley still didn't have enough after she sang her second song, then Hermione decided she would step in and offer to pay for her drinks. "So how have you been lately? I'm sorry I've been so busy."

"Yeah, i did. Glad you like it. I'm fine. I know you've been busy lately so i understand." said Miley. She always liked having an older person to talk to. They were older, wiser, and have been through so much more than she has. Much more Hermione, one of the closest friends of Harry "Troublemaker" Potter. If Miley knew anyone else that had been through so much danger and excitement in their lives, it was all going to lead back to Hermione. She admired Hermione for her brains and amazing beauty. Even when she was about to get sorted, the only thought that swam through her head was being just like the woman/girl she idolized. Thank goodness the sorting hat took her choice into consideration. The shopkeeper knocked on the wood signaling Miley to get back on that stage so she could pay up.
Someday, you're gonna realize One day, you'll see this through my eyes By then I won't even be there I'll be happy somewhere Even if I cared
I know you don't really see my worth You think you're the last guy on earth Well, I've got news for you I know I'm not that strong But it won't take long, won't take long
'Cause someday, someone's gonna love me The way I wanted you to need me Someday, someone's gonna take your place One day, I'll forget about you You'll see, I won't even miss you Someday, someday
Right now, I know you can tell I'm down and I'm not doin' well But one day, these tears They will all run dry I won't have to cry sweet goodbye
'Cause someday, someone's gonna love me The way I wanted you to need me Someday, someone's gonna take your place, Ooh One day, I'll forget about you You'll see, I won't even miss you Someday, I know someone's gonna be there
Someday, someone's gonna love me The way I wanted you to need me Someday, someone's gonna take your place One day, I'll forget about you You'll see, I won't even miss you Someday, someday
Ahh yeah yeah
When Miley was done she was lacking one last galleon. Just one more song and she's outta debt. "So Hermione, how's Ron and Hermione doing?"

"You really wrote that yourself? You're a really good writer," Hermione said. Hermione smiled slightly when Miley said she understood that she was busy, but she still felt bad. "Thank you for understanding. I have so much to do now, so many responsibilities that are taking up all of my time." Hermione was used to the stress of school work and such, but recent years had given her new problems to worry about, and more reasons to be stressed.
Miley went up to the small stage to sing another song. Hermione stood and watched, admiring her friend's talent. Miley returned to her spot beside Hermione and asked about her friends. "They're good," Hermione said uncertainly. She did not know how they felt at the moment, or lately, but she assumed they felt somewhat similar to how she felt. And Hermione felt alright at times, and downright lousy at other times. None of them ever really felt great anymore, or even good for that matter. But she did not want to tell Miley that. It would probably only worry her, and Hermione was worried enough for her friends as well as half of the school.

"No worries, we all have to have our priorities straight don't we?" she said. Hermione looked a bit tense and over worked. It was pretty obvious she couldn't sleep at night. Her eyes were filled with tiny red veins that were signs of over worked people. "Try putting some papaya or cucumber on your eyes when you sleep. It might do you good." said Miley trying to comfort her older role model. "I'm glad Harry and Ron are fine. They's big boys they can take care of themselves, why not get a few hours of shut eye for yourself? I mean, honestly, you can't expect to beat whatshisname in that condition now don't you?" she said. She went up on stage for the last time for that one last galleon.
It’s been thirty days and fourteen hours And I’m here still doing nothing on my own So many time and effort I have put to waste Cause I don’t even see you appreciate it
And I am waitin’ waitin’ waitin’ here for you Iam waitin’ waitin’ waitin’ just for you
Time keeps on tickin’ and i don’t even see you moving It’s burning up all the patience inside me I’m sick of listening to your bull…shh… I don’t wanna say those words but you make me wanna do something worse
Cause I’ve been waitin’ waitin’ waitin’ here for you I am waitin’ waitin’ waitin’ here for you I’m here waitin’ waitin’ waitin’ just for you Time is runnning out You’re giving me so much doubt Tell me what to do cause I feel so jaded Waiting on you… Waiting on you…
Time is running out You’re giving me so much doubt You make me realize you’re a waste of time
Cause I’ve been waitin’ waitin’ waitin’ here for you I am waitin’ waitin’ waitin’ here for you I’m here waitin’ waitin’ waitin’ just for you
But time is running out You’re giving me so much doubt I’ve had enough of waitin’ here for you I’m leaving you… i’m leaving you…
Enough of waitin’ waitin’ waitin’ Enough of waitin’ waitin’ waitin’
I’m leaving you… (waitin’ waitin waitin’) I’m leaving you… (waitin’ waitin’ waitin’)
Leaving you... I'm leaving you
When she finished she finally had enough galleons to her debt and some extra change for two more. She figured, Hermione really needed some relaxation made easy. She ordered two and gave one to Hermione, paying full charge.

Hermione listened as Miley suggested sleeping with papaya or cucumber over her eyes, but she did not expect it to help. Not if she didn't sleep. The seventh year was sleeping, but restlessly, and for only a short time each night. What she and her two friends were soon to face was a lot to handle, and Hermione spent countless hours each day, and night, searching for any information that might help them. She wouldn't leave any book in Hogwarts unread, so that any helpful information wouldn't be overlooked. Still, she thanked Natalie for the advice, hoping she would have the chance to try it eventually. "I'll give it a try soon."
"Oh, you don't know the half of it," Hermione said. Harry and Ron could take care of themselves, but when it came to researching what they needed to know, neither of the boys had a clue. They became distracted too easily, and simply glanced over a page. Hermione read each through, carefully, keeping focused on the text she had before her. She could always count on Harry and Ron, for just about anything other than researching. "Well, once I've run out of material to read here I'll be a bit more relaxed," Hermione said. It was true; as soon as the finished the last book in all of Hogwarts, she would feel a bit more at ease, at least for a while.
Hermione didn't want Natalie to pay for her drink, but she seemed proud of herself for earning the money. "Thank you, Miley." Hermione smiled. The pub was getting a bit more crowded, probably due to the girl who had just performed amazingly on stage three times. Hermione was proud of Natalie. She was a great singer. Hermione sometimes wished she herself could sing, but that wish didn't linger long, for she always found something else to keep herself occupied.

"Great! I'll help you if you like. I have lots of facial and relaxation things from home and i'll be more than happy to help you." Miley somehow knew that Hermione was beyond the meaning of tense. She has a new mission, to make Hermione calm down and relax for once. If she doesn't stop, she's crash and burn, and no way was she going to let that happen to her favorite idol of all time.
"So when is that? When the Library goes runs out of books and you want to reread them all? You have to rest, i mean how can you expect to remain the smartest girl in school and the bravest girl, if you don't relax and chill a bit. It won't hurt, you don't know how a little rest and relaxation can go a long way. You're almost certain to get the highest in your N.E.W.T.s." said Miley assuring herself that Hermione will do this.
As more people came in, she thought that they all came in because they perhaps saw her sing, or heard her from the outside. "Wow, this place is getting crowded, i wonder why." she asked Hermione. Maybe she was thinking the same thing.

Hermione was a bit unsure of allowing Natalie to help her relax. For one thing, she had no time to relax. That was one of the unfortunate things about being best friends with the one person the Dark Lord wanted to destroy most. Though, Hermione felt the price small, for she could not have ever asked for better friends. Still, Natalie seemed more than excited to help her, so she said, "That sounds good." She did not want to hurt Natalie's feelings.
"I'll take a break when I can be sure everyone is safe," Hermione said. She felt a bit uncomfortable talking about all of this to Natalie. She only spoke of what was happening with Ron and Harry. She knew that saying too much in front of Natalie was not a good idea, for they were in a public place. However, even if they were not in public, Hermione doubted she would reveal too much. Only she, Ron, and Harry really needed to know the full details of what they were planning. At least for now, only they needed to know.
"Honestly, I have bigger concerns than remaining the smartest or bravest girl in Hogwarts," Hermione told Natalie. It was true. Hermione's priorities had changed drastically since her first year at Hogwarts. But she didn't want to worry Natalie, for the younger Gryffindor was always so happy, and looked up to Hermione. She would hate to ruin Natalie's view on her, or ruin her happiness. For Hermione was certain that what would come would almost certainly put a halt to Natalie's happy, carefree attitude.
Hermione was a bit surprised Natalie had asked that, for she believed that Natalie's singing had drawn the many customers into the small pub. The young girl had a gift, one which many people would be more than thrilled to have. "I believe I know," Hermione said. She smiled kindly at her companion.

Hermione seemed uneasy. And who could blame her, she was helping the Boy Who Lived save the Wizarding World, with a secret mission from one of the highest celebrated wizards of all time, Albus Dumbledore. Miley did not want to push Hermione to tell her what it was because she didn't like to pry people about their private business. Miley knew what it felt like to be pried about things, she only knew too well. "Well, just let me know if you need a hand. I'm always with you guys, no matter what."
Miley could hardly believe what she was hearing. The Hermione Granger, the smartest witch in her age, not care about being the top? Unbelievable. She was a role model to witches everywhere, and looking that fine doesn't hurt either. "Well, even if you don't try, you're still the bravest and smartest witch here. You had 9 'Outstanding's in your O.W.L.s. That i think is a record."
Miley only liked to sing. Her Aunt and Grandmother often made her sing in the resto for fun and lack of things to do, she never really thought she was any good. Miley only thought she had a decent voice and singing ability, nothing special. "Really? Why then?" she asked curiously, looking bewildered.

"Of course I will, Miley." Hermione knew that Natalie was there for her, and she was glad. She knew that she was not alone, for Ron, Harry, and others often said that they supported Harry. But hearing it from Natalie made her feel much better, and much more confident in what she had to do.
Being the smartest witch seemed insignificant compared to what she and her friends were preparing to do. "Well, I would like to think so, but even if I was not the cleverest or bravest, I don't think I would be concerned about it until much later on, if I'm ever concerned about it again."
"Well, if you wish to be as smart as me, then you should figure it out yourself," Hermione said. She stood from the table, streching her legs as she did so. She wished she could stay longer, but unfortunately, she had to return to Hogwarts. "I'm sorry Miley, but I have to go. But I'm sure I'll see you in the common room. Perhaps I'll even see you later on tonight." With that, she turned towards the exit. "Bye!"
[Sorry.. Tis late and my muze is going for the night..]
