Rosalind Mackenzie West is a very pretty girl, if you can learn to look at her in that way. She has her mother's, white blonde hair, naturally. Although Rosie has been known to change the color of her hair to brown or black a few times. However most of the time she just goes for her natural blonde locks with wide strips of bright colors such as pink or blue in it. Down, her hair is a bit wavy and reaches to about her lower back. Ro-Ro's bangs can be seen either brushed over to one side or spread evenly across her forehead. Most of the time she wears it in it's natural state. Ro-Ro however has been known to wear her hair in some funky, random style that she thought of off the top of her head.

Rosalind has her father's circular shaped face, but the pale almost flawless skin is all her own. The only thing that isn't perfect about her skin is the little dark brown birthmark right below her right nostril on her cheek that basically gets passed off as an odd freckle. Rosie likes to wear a thick coat of hot pink blush up and down her highly defined cheekbones. Her dark chocolate brown colored eyes are those of her grandfather's. For eye make-up Rosalind usually does a thick layer of black or dark brown eyeline matched with a lighter more natural eyeshadow color, as to draw people's attention to her eyes.

Rosie's at an average height for a 16 year old female. She stands proud at about 5 foot 6. While her height is average her weight is quite under average. Rosie only weighs about 96 pounds. Ro-Ro has a very cute body figure that can be analyzed in several different ways. First, she could be considered athletic because her arms and legs are muscle toned. Then she could be thought of as petite because of her very, very, skinny stomach and the fact that she can fit into most smaller places and average height. Or she could even be thought of as curvaceous because no one could deny that she has curves in all the right places.

Rosie has a very odd sense of fashion. She likes things that are funky and that most people wouldn't ever dream of wearing. For shirts she likes something plain, but still weird in a color such as black, white, or blue. It has to fit tightly over her skinny torso and accentuate her breasts. For pants she likes something a bit brighter like pink or blue that are very short. These too have to fit tightly, only this time around her butt. Most of the time she just leaves her legs uncovered, but occasionally she will wear tightlike legging. These legging are usually made of a weird colored lace such as red or black and are only knee length.
Personality:
Rosie is the wild child. You know, the one that you can't have more than one of otherwise the world would go into complete chaos. The first and foremost thing about Ro-Ro that you need to know is that she's generally very outgoing, she loves talking to people. However sometimes people don't take kindly to her often odd and insane behavoir. Ro-Ro's generally a nice person who can make people feel very welcome. She isn't your everyday school sweetheart, but she has a generally kind disposition because of her upbringing. Rosie is very much a live in the moment type person. When a good idea comes to her she just wants to do. Actually much of the time she does things without thinking, she likes random spontanity. Crazy should have been her middle name. She loves doing just stupid, random, nuts that is really, really fun. Parties, Rosalind absolutely loves a good party. This is mainly because she loves alchohol and having fun. More often than not Rosie is the life of the party because of her fun-loving attitude and wild behavoir.

The next thing to know about Rosalind is that she is actually quite smart. However as the teachers have told her many a time she just doesn't always apply herself properly. Ro-Ro doesn't really like studying at all and instead prefers to spend her time hanging out with friends or just all alone doing whatever she fancies. Most of the time Rosie won't study unless she's dangerously close to failing or if she wishes to prove someone wrong. Which leads me to saying that Rosalind is very, very stubborn. She's quite opionated and will always stand by what she believes in no matter what other people say to make her stop believing it. Ro-Ro does what she wants and doesn't let other people tell her what to do. Generally Rosalind doesn't care what people think of her. She tends to be a love me or hate me type person who doesn't care what people think of her. Of course, most people have at least heard of her because of her often insane behavoir and distinct personality.

Generally Rosalind is a very happy, hyper person. However when she gets sad or depressed, she gets really, really down on herself. This is where most of her bad habits come into play. The thing that upsets Rosie the most is her parents death, but over the years she's managed to start thinking about it less and less. Another thing that really gets her down is people who betray her, but mostly Ro-Ro tends to trust too many people because she's been hurt too many times. When Rosie gets into these depressed moods she likes to be alone with a bottle of alcohol and a knife. This does not happen like ever, most of the time she's just a crazy.
History:
Rosalind Mackenzie West was born on December 30th to Mikayla and Kevin West in Edinburgh, Scotland. For a while she lived a happy life. She had an brother that was older than her by 4 years. Together the 2 siblings would play as their mum watched them from afar while their father went off to work. The West family had a decent amount of money from Kevin's job and Mikayla's inheritance. As a small girl Rosie was a daddy's girl, she got practically everything she wanted.

On November 20th when Rosalind was 3 the West family went out for dinner. They were driving home from the restaurant when it happened. The roads were icy because winter had come early and Kevin wasn't paying close attention, the car slipped across into the next lane and fell headlong into the railing. Death was instant for Kevin and Mikayla. Rosalind who was buckled safely into her carseat managed to survive the accident with a broken arm and a few bumps and bruises. Her brother wasn't as lucky, he died a mere hour after being brought to the hospital. Social services took Rosie to a nearby group home when it was discovered that she no known living relatives. Before she left Rosalind was allowed only a few of her things. Upon arriving at the group home Rosie was very withdrawn and quiet because of the tragedy that she had witnessed and survived.

That first year or so was hard for Rosalind, nobody else really liked her because of her not-so-humble beginnings and quiet nature. To add to that Rosie was often easily frightened and unwilling to talk to people. Finally after a while Rosalind started feeling safer and slowly started letting people in. The time Rosie spent at the home was odd for her because she knew that she was a witch. She attended regular classes with all the muggle children and learned to read, write, and perform mathematical operations. People still continued to distance themselves from her because of the odd things that happened around her because of the magic.

At age 11 Rosalind received her acceptance letter into Hogwarts as she had expected. On September 1 Rosie boarded the Hogwarts Express an excited little girl who was unsure of what to expect. Much to Ro-Ro's surprise she was placed into Ravenclaw because of talent. That first year was magical for Rosalind. She made many new friends and started learning new things.

Last year when she went back to the orphanage a new boy had been sent there that was her age. Over the 2 months of break Rosie enclosed her soul to him, she told him everything, they even had a summer fling relationship. But when the time came to go back to school he hurt her and ripped her soul out. Now she's back at Hogwarts and hurting.

Hogwarts is like Rosie's home. Almost everything important has happened here, she got her first kiss, had sex, got her first camera, and all that other fun stuff.

Rosie laughed at Fallon's tsk sound as it was such a good imitation of Madam Pince. She knew that she had a very odd situatiion. "OOO, did I tell you that I figured out why I'm in Ravenclaw?" OK, so she made these reasons up all the time, but this one was the most comical one yet and RoRo couldn't wait to tell it to Fallon. It would definitely be a good laugh. Yeah, Rosa had no idea why she was in Ravenclaw, neither of her parents were. She would have done well anywhere else.

Ros smiled at Fallon and just nodded. "Hellz yeah, they are!" Rosie shouted. A second later she had cupped her hand over her mouth. Lowering her voice, she added "Well, they never even want to party." She sighed. You would think that her smart-ass housemates would abide by the dictionary, partying before studying, but whatever. At, that precise moment Madam Pince came over to them and just glared and put a finger to her lips. She laughed again and knew that her and Fallon wouldn't last much longer in here.

RoRo looked at her friend who was now wearing a comforting look on her face. It was nice to know that someone cared about her around here. Rosie wasn't exactly sure to start on what had been going on in her life, there was just so much. "Well, let's start at the top, shall we?" Rosie said, her smile lighting up her face a bit. "This whole O.W.L's thing is kinda freaking me out. I''m smart, but I don't care. What if my parents were alive? What would they want me to do?" She paused after that long ramble to take a few deep breaths. Lowering her voice a bit, RoRo said "Also I think I'm like love with Jordan. You know, the guy who I thought was like a brother to me. And for the first time in my life, I'm afraid of being emotionally hurt." That was all, she had to say on those topics.

She burst out laughing when Fallon asked her why she was in the library. Actually, Rosie was surprised that this question hadn't come up sooner, after all the library was Rosa's enemy. "No idea, just randomly came her because......well I was bored." Fallon was right, RoRo never did come in her unless she absolutely needed to do her homework. "Yeah, not homework....or someone special." Rosie said thinking particularly of Jordan and how unbelieveably great he was. "I came here to piss off Pince." She said after Fallon insinuated that that was their job. "It was easy, all I had to do was walk in." She said bursting out with more laughter alongside Fallon.

For appearance, you should take out any words that describe her looks as "flawless" and such. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so saying she is pretty and cute is up to the characters who interact with Rosalind.

Dying her hair is alright, but the streaking it with colors is not something that is common to England in the early 1990's. At least not while in Hogwarts. If she did this to her hair during vacations, it would make more sense.

This is mainly because she loves alchohol and having fun.

There is no alcohol in Hogwarts. In the whole series, the only two people who have been seen drinking are Mundungus and Moody.

Most of the time Rosie won't study unless she's dangerously close to failing or if she wishes to prove someone wrong.

If she is in Ravenclaw, she has to get good grades. Just because she is smart when she tries doesn't mean she'd be in Ravenclaw. It would make more sense if she was smart and got good grades but decent grades came easy to her, and great grades came the few times she truly applied herself.

Again, no alcohol in Hogwarts. Also, there are no cutters in the series, so you shouldn't add them.

Her history is very Mary-Sue. That both of her parents died and she was never adopted is Mary-Sue. If her parents dying is so important to her personality, then maybe she was adopted by someone a few years later. It would make her story less Mary-Sue. Other than that, I don't know how you could make it less Mary-Sue, but you should try to do so.

First kiss is acceptable, but no sex is allowed on this site. If you read the rules, you will notice that number 9 of the Unacceptables is that there is no sexual content. Also, if you notice Hogwarts does not have electronics. Sure, outside of Hogwarts there are TVs and such, but students are not allowed to have electronics in Hogwarts.

The last thing I am going to mention is her being Pureblooded. There are very few Pureblood families, because they are dying out. Either her bloodline must be Halfblood or less, or you must give a very good reason for her being Pureblooded.
